Overview : Small-group lodge safari through some of Northern Tanzania’s wildlife parks, starting and ending in Arusha – 7 Days

Day 1: Arusha, Tanzania

You will be collected from the airport and transferred to your lodge in the forests outside Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, you will have an opportunity to explore the lodge grounds, go for a dip in the swimming pool or partake in any of the offered additional activities available. Dinner and overnight at Mount Meru Game Lodge or Similar

Day 2: Arusha-Tarangire National Park

Our tour starts with the first stop in town of Arusha for some last minute purchases, before we head off on an exciting safari experience. We will travel towards the Tarangire National Park for our first game drive. Tarangire National Park forms the centre of the annual migratory cycle that includes up to 3000 elephant, 25,000 wildebeest and 30,000 zebra.dinner and overnight at Rift Valley Photographic Lodge

Day 3: Tarangire-Lake Manyara National Park

We head towards Lake Manyara National Park for an early morning game drive. The spectacular national park is located at the north-western corner of Lake Manyara, which lies at the foot of the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment. Lake Manyara National Park is not only known for its large flocks of flamingos, but also for the elusive tree climbing lions.Dinner and Overnight at Rift Valley Photographic Lodge

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast we drive up the Rift Valley escarpment towards the world famous Ngorongoro Crater. For many, this wildlife spectacle is the pinnacle of their safari experience. The Ngorongoro Crater boasts all of the ‘Big 5’, including a small population of endangered black rhino. After a picnic lunch, we head towards the Serengeti through the stunning Southern Plains. Dinner and Overnight at Serengeti Acacia Camp or similar

Day 5: Serengeti National Park

An early start sees us heading out for a game drive around the Seronera area in the magnificent Serengeti National Park. We will go ahead with game drives throughout the afternoon in the endless plains spotting many animals. In the late afternoon we drive back to the lodge for an overnight. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Acacia Camp or similar

Day 6: Serengeti-Mto wa Mbu

Today we retrace our steps with a morning game drive through the Serengeti before we continue our game drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. En-route we visit Olduvai Gorge museum.Dinner and Overnight at Rift Valley Photographic Lodge

Day 7: Mto wa Mbu-Arusha

Today we explore the colourful town of Mto-wa-Mbu for some last minute pictures and curio shopping. Afterwards we head to Arusha where the tour will end at our offices. We hope to welcome you again on one of our African adventures!
